Shauna Levy

As Vice President of MMPI Canada and director of the Interior Design Show and Explore Design, Shauna Levy works on creating the vision for each of these events, including programming, marketing and advertising. She essentially oversees all the details related to each event. Shauna’s areas of expertise include an in-depth knowledge and awareness of the international design scene including products, designers, trends, projects and spaces.

After graduating from the University of Toronto, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French, Shauna moved to Paris where she worked as an Account Manager for Provinciales. Her passion for design began while living in Paris – a move that catapulted her onto the world stage of design. From Miami to Milan, Shauna can be seen mingling with the industries top designers, architects, movers and shakers. Shauna’s name has also been known to grace the pages of various media publications, including the Globe and Mail and Canadian Interiors magazine, covering international design shows.
Shauna’s love for design was the catalyst behind the creation of the Interior Design Show (IDS) in 1998. There was a clear need for a design event that would give the public the opportunity to learn about design, while simultaneously offering industry insider’s a place to draw inspiration and source products. Co-founded with her father, Steven Levy, the event is now in its 11th year.
One of MMPI Canada’s newest show additions of 2007 was Explore Design, where Shauna naturally extended her passion for design to the younger generation. Explore Design, is North America’s first education fair, which caters to those students who are interested in pursuing a career in various design disciplines.
Prior to the Interior Design Show and Expore Design, Shauna has also worked as an Exhibitor Coordinator for the One of a Kind Show, Marketing Director for Designers Walk and was the founder of The Yoga Show.
She has also lent a hand in Fundraising for Habitat for Humanity and has participated in The Ride to Conquer Cancer.
