SustainaBUILD Calgary Conference

The Calgary SustainaBUILD Conference at the BMO Centre in June is a one-day conference that seeks to make sense of the massive paradigm shift of the real estate and development industries towards “green” innovations in design, construction and operation, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Green building certification systems are being adopted for new and existing buildings, which claim to protect occupant health while achieving climate change objectives. But are all green buildings healthy buildings? Through a series of speakers and discussions, this conference will seek to provide answers to this pressing issue by addressing the myths and misconceptions surrounding sustainable green buildings and health.
